Meet Vaughn (#3549). This sweet Labrador Retriever mix is estimated to be about three-years old and weighs approximately 35 pounds. He arrived from Mexico in August 2021. Vaughn is doing great with the other dogs in his foster home and adapting to life in the U.S. Vaughn is currently being treated for anaplasmosis and ehrlichiosis, both tick-borne diseases. These tick-borne diseases are not contagious and are only transmitted through the bites of ticks. Treatment is generally effective, and his prognosis is good.
