Introducing Tessa (#3720), a 2-year old female golden retriever.  Tessa is a small, shy girl weighing approximately 50 pounds and in need of gaining weight. Tessa is suffering from a skin condition that will most definitely need to be treated by a veterinarian and possibly a different diet.

Tessa is settling in well in her foster home. She slept through the first night in her kennel (with the door open) and is potty-trained. Her foster mother says she is the sweetest little dog but she will take some time to come out of her shell. Tessa rides great in the car and the introductions to her foster siblings went well.

All descriptions above are what we know about this dog when it was first released to GBR. Dogs are typically in foster care for three to four weeks. During that time, we will discover its true personality as witnessed by its particular foster family. The dog’s personality traits may change as it becomes accustom to its new foster home.
