Hi! My name is Luna (#3569). I am a mixed-breed dog. When my foster mom is asked what type of mix I am, she tells people the “perfect mix.” She says that I am a real life Scooby-Doo who is looking for my own Shaggy. Like Scooby, I am very loyal to my gang, love Scooby snacks, love to snuggle, and new things are kind of scary to me. But once the “scary mask” of the new situation is removed, I do really well. Also, a Scooby snack always helps me get comfortable. I really love playing with other big dogs. Cats are a different story: I love to chase them and they don’t seem to appreciate my efforts.
The vet thinks I am about 9-months old and I am very healthy with all of my vaccines up to date. I love to play but also love to be lazy while my foster mom works. I am working on being crate-trained and doing amazing at it. I don’t mind sharing my toys and don’t get grouchy over my food. I do get a bit vocal when my foster mom leaves the house but I do settle down in my kennel. My foster mom is really proud of how well I have done with housetraining. She thinks I am very smart and would do great with agility training and some basic manners training. I get very excited going for walks and this means sometimes I forget not to pull. My foster mom uses a “Gentle Leader” to help me remember. She knows I am young and will learn with patience and gentle guidance.
Are you the Shaggy I am looking for? I hope you say yes!
