Hello,  my name is Ruthie (#3563).  I am told by many that I am the sweetest!  I came to the US in late June from China and wasn’t feeling too energetic.  My foster family gave me good food, some baths and love and I have been feeling so much better.   The nice vet I saw thought I was around 7-9 years old.

I love all people I meet, and am very polite to other dogs.  I have not been with a cat, but I see them in my neighborhood and just let them be, so my foster family thinks I may be able to live with a cat.  I currently live with a young foster sister who likes to wrestle.  We go on walks twice a day and I really enjoy that.  I am great on the leash and love, love to roll in the soft grass in the park by our house.

I love breakfast and dinner time and am very motivated by treats, but I do not counter surf.  I am fully potty-trained.  My foster family wonders why I love car rides so much, but I just do.  They relax me.

I would be a great companion dog for someone who doesn’t want a high energy pup.   I don’t run much, but my legs are getting stronger every day and I trot a bit now.  I have not gone up and down stairs yet.

I sleep on a pad on the floor next to my foster teenager and during the day hang out in the office and help dad work.

I am all golden when it comes to giving love and getting pets and attention.  I want to find my forever home.  Could it be with you?
