My name is Messi (#3607).  I am a 5-month old Labrador Retriever-mix from South Korea.  I am very smart and learning English words quickly.  I love to play, play, play with the resident 7-year old dog in my foster home.  I like squeaky toys, balls, and tug toys but wrestling with the resident dog is my favorite sport.

I am completely housetrained and sleep through the night on a dog bed near my foster mom.  I eat my food in a separate area from the resident dog.  I am a fast eater, even with a “slow” feed bowl.  Sometimes I try to go to the resident dog’s bowl, but am corrected with a growl.

I will benefit from a puppy class.  I love any outdoor activity and will enjoy a dog sport such as agility.  Because I am so young and energetic, I will need a family who is at home quite a bit.  I will also benefit from another big dog as a role model and buddy.
