WOOF! I’m Farrah (#3592) but my foster dad calls me “Farrah-leave it-no”. I am a 2-year old Labrador Retriever mix.  I am still growing and learning. I was rescued in South Korea so everything is still pretty new to me here.  I am very curious and enjoy learning about all the new things in my life.

I love playing, receiving chest scratches and belly rubs, and snuggling.  I am very trusting of my human. I like to sleep in my kennel with the door open or on my bed next to my human’s bed at night.

I do have a lot of energy at times so it’s good if I am walked several times throughout the day.  If I don’t get a walk before bed, I will just run around the room and pull at my human’s pajamas to remind them that they forgot to take me for a walk.

I am very quiet and only bark when put in my crate, but I tire of barking quickly and just lay down and wait for my human to return and open my door.

I am learning some manners so want to find someone who will be patient with me. I was raised in a processing farm in South Korea, so I am not fond of other dogs around my toys or food. I like to play with them but can’t yet be left alone or off-leash with them as I am a bit too rough.  (I am learning how to be gentle.) I struggle at times with roughhousing and nipping but am easily calmed when a toy or the treat bag comes out.

I’m good about reminding my family when they leave food or dirty dishes on the counter and when they leave dirty clothes on the floor (especially socks!). I like to sleep with my human’s dirty clothes.  I don’t ruin them but I do like them on my bed with me.  I am, of course, always happy to trade my collection of dirty clothes for a treat . . . or two.

I listen well once I start paying attention, but getting my attention can be difficult UNLESS there’s a bag of kibble involved.  Once the kibble comes out, I am ALL ears!

If you think you can love me as much as I can love you, I hope you’ll submit an application to Golden Bond Rescue so we can be family.
