Central Oregon Picnic

The ever-popular picnic in Central Oregon for adopters, volunteers and supporters is the most fun your dog is going to have this year! People have a great time too, although a huge swimming pond is not as great an attraction to humanoids as it is to the canines.

White Whiskers Ranch is conveniently located in the triangle between Bend, Redmond, and Sisters and is owned by Ken and Audrey Moore who are devoted to giving senior Rescue dogs a soft place to land for the rest of their lives. They rescue both Goldens and Dalmations. Their 10 acre fully fenced ranch includes a separately fenced swimming pond with sand beach.

Ken’s goal each year is to have 50 dogs frolicking in the pond. Last year we had about 40. Picture zooming dogs, splashing, tennis balls galore. That’s for the dog part. Good food (all but dessert provided by our hosts!), great conversation, and some Golden Bond items for sale (including calendars).

Make plans to attend! All are welcome with or without dogs, Golden or not!

A separate email will be coming your way with more details. Time and address TBA.
