My name is Buddy (#3800), I am a 78-pound year old male Labrador retriever-mix .  I am a sweet and playful guy who loves playing fetch and tug of war.  When I’m not playing, I love to explore but also love lots of cuddles as well.  I am good at learning and already know basic commands as I am very sweet and quite bright.  I do walk well on a leash which is very important I understand from all the people I know.

When first meeting another dog, I do bark a lot but it is not aggressive just excitement.  Once introduced I am quiet and we get along just fine.  I also get excited when new people are introduced and am learning not to jump.

I am currently at Charlton Kennels getting basic training. Besides walking well on a leash, I know sit, wait at the door and many more good behaviors.  I am becoming quite a nice gentleman. I would be best with kids over 10 as I can get quite active.  I don’t know about cats but I have been known to chase squirrels.

I need an active family who is willing to play fetch, go on long walks and even go hiking with me.  I hope I am just the dog for you if you fill my qualifications.
