Cody #3791

Cody (#3791) is a one-year old Labrador Retriever.  He is quite the snuggler and loves to be very close to women and is timid around men, though getting better. He has been wonderful with all the dogs in his foster home and is an enthusiastic wrestler and chaser.

From Cody:

I am a great dog! I’m an enthusiastic, rambunctious Lab puppy. I am also extremely athletic, so much so that I think I would do really well at agility training and enjoy it. Foster Dad says I’m “aggressively affectionate:” in the morning if I think he’s getting up, I will go into the bedroom, climbs up next to him and starts smothering him with dog kisses. What’s aggressive about that??

I love belly rubs and I’ll help you by throwing myself on my back if I think one is imminent!  I love other dogs, and love to chase and wrestle outside and “mouth wrestle” inside.  I knows “Sit” and I am crate-trained for my meals. I like to jump, and I’ve jumped over a 4′ driveway gate twice, so I might need a 5′ fence at a minimum. I also think I’m pretty smart!
