Ryker #3369
Ryker is the light in my life. He is such a good boy. I’d be lost without him.
We have been training at the Oregon Humane Society, celebrating birthdays, and playing with the grandkids – He likes to have them read stories to him! He is truly a gentle giant.
I am so grateful to Golden Bond for Ryker!
Hi, my name is Ryker (#3369). I am a 7.5 year old male golden retriever. My foster parents say I am a pretty sweet guy. I greet people at the door with my tail wagging and sometimes a stuffed toy in my mouth – and that’s about the extent of my dog toy needs. I walk pretty well on a leash, and I also know basic commands. Matter of fact, I am ambipawtrus: I like to sit next to my people with a paw on their leg while they pet my big furry head. I would like to nap on the furniture, but my foster mom won’t let me. Lately, I’ve been a little uncomfortable as my skin is really itchy. I have to take a bath once a week with some stinky shampoo. I get to take a few naps during the day because my energy levels is a little low; it’s something about a thyroid thing, not to mention my foster parents poop me out when they make me take a couple of short walks with my foster doggy brother. They said something about how I need to get into better shape and shrink my tummy. I do tend to get a bit excited when I see another dog (or cat), but foster dad knows to hang on and try to calmly meet. I also am really good in the car and enjoy a good ride when we’re not staying at home cause we have to.
Ryker was adopted on July 29, 2020
