This handsome boy is Zeus (#4160).  Zeus is 75% Labrador Retriever and 25% Golden Retriever.  He is 2-years old (DOB: April 6, 2022).  Zeus weighs 85 pounds.

Zeus was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia before he turned one. He will be seeing an orthopedist to determine if anything can be done for the intermittent limping/pain he experiences.

UPDATE:  December 18, 2024

Zeus has been cleared by the specialist and will be available shortly. There was no evidence of elbow dysplasia (new radiographs and an MRI were done). Furthermore he is no longer limping in his foster home and he has no exercise restrictions, and enjoys his walks and play sessions with the two other dogs in the home. Zeus is a sweet boy who will make a great addition to a lucky family.

 

All descriptions above are what we know about this dog when it was first released to GBR. During the dogs first few weeks in foster care, we will discover more of its true personality and behavior as witnessed by the particular foster family. The dog’s personality traits may change as it becomes accustomed to its new foster home and surroundings.
