Tootie #4189

Hi, I’m Tootie (#4189)!  I’m a playful, healthy 4-year old Labrador Retriever-mix and weigh about 73 pounds.   My foster people say that I have good energy and watch me do zoomies in the backyard but I also calm down and relax.

I’ve been having a great time with my two golden retriever buddies at my foster family. I love to play with both of them and chase them in the yard. We have a great time together.  Oh and I love going after balls and the frisbee is a fun thing too!

I love outdoor walks and I’m pretty good on a leash, but sometimes pull a bit when I wanna go sniff.  Speaking of sniffing, I really enjoy smelling the air so I can learn what’s going on around me. I wish I could tell you what I’m learning. It’s amazing.

I listen pretty well to my foster people and am quick to learn new things. If they ask me to do or not to do something, then I try my best. I’m learning more each day about different commands.  I love when it’s treat time.  Me and my two golden buddies will sit with our foster and wait our turn to get the treat. It’s so fun!

I had a bath at a self wash and it went really well. Even with  other dogs around, I was fine.

I am fully housetrained and have not had an accident in my foster’s house. I also sleep well at night and have slept in a crate with the door open.  Sometimes I whine when I want to get a toy or when my foster people leave. But when they’re gone, I have my two dog buddies at home so I’m relaxed.

So, in short I get along great with other dogs, love my foster people, and toys are a great thing for me.  I haven’t been around cats, so I’m not sure about them.
