It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Laurie Wroda. Together with her husband, Jim, Laurie was a passionate and tireless supporter of Golden Bond Rescue, and the generosity of the Wroda family over many years has helped countless dogs find new lives in loving homes.

Several years ago, Laurie and Jim adopted a very special Golden Bond dog, Faith, who had been severely burned. If you follow Golden Bond Rescue on Facebook, you may have seen updates about Faith and her sister Hope living their very best lives. The care and patience Jim and Laurie gave Hope enabled her to thrive, both physically and emotionally, and their story is an inspiration to us all.
