Cole #4200
I am originally from South Korea, and some very nice people helped me get to the United States where they thought I would have the best life ever. I am certainly loving it here! I’ve lived with several foster families, some with young grandchildren who are super fun to be around, and some with neighbor dogs I can play with. To be honest, I’ll be best as the only dog in the home.
I am completely housetrained, and very well-mannered in the home. I don’t jump on furniture or on people, I don’t beg, and I consider myself quite the handsome gentleman.
While I was living in South Korea, I was treated for heartworm. The good news is that since coming to the USA in January 2025, I’ve been checked several times, and have tested negative for it. The doctors say I am in great shape, and I’m a healthy 73 pounds. I was feeling anxious about all the changes in my life these past few months, so my doctor thought I would feel better if they gave me some medication to help with my anxiety. I’ve been taking fluoxetine since June 20 and I feel great! I used to be shy around new folks but not so much anymore. Give me a treat or play with me, and I’ll cuddle with you!
I’m 4.5-years old, and mostly a Labrador Retriever. I love to play fetch, play in the water, go for walks, figure out food puzzles and chew on food-stuffed Kongs. My fosters gave me a lick mat, a
My foster takes me for a nice walk every morning before breakfast, and another one after dinner. I love to sniff and sometimes I pull on my leash to get to a really good smell! My foster is helping me learn to walk nicely and not pull so hard, and she gave me an A+ today! She is a dog trainer and works with me several times a day so I’m learning a lot! We have a lot of fun together. I get very excited when I see other dogs being walked in the neighborhood.
If you are an active family that is looking to add a special member to your family, experienced with Labradors, and excited to continue working with Cole’s trainers so he can learn to be the best walker in the world, he’d love to meet you! Cole would be happiest in a somewhat calm home, with people who are patient and understand that a young dog like him needs some time and love to be the best boy ever.
