Harold #3945

Hello!  My name is Harold (#3945).  I am a 1.5-year old, 50-pound Flat Coated Retriever from S. Korea.  People tell me I am “beautiful.” I have a shiny black coat and “the most soulful eyes.” I love nothing more than sitting next to my humans and staring lovingly into their eyes, especially if they happen to have some tasty bites in their hands. I love treats and am very food motivated, making me super easy to train. I am eager to please and fast to pick up on new tricks. I already know sit, down, and shake. With continued training, I will mature into a lovely companion. I walk nicely on leash and don’t pull because there’s nowhere I’d rather be than next to my humans!

I love all people and dogs and want to be everyone’s best friend. I do well in a crate at night and when left for a few hours during the day, but my ideal home is one where I can be with my people most of the time. I love to play with my foster brother. Our crazy games of chase and mouth wrestling help tire out my puppy energy. I want to do everything my foster brother is doing, including “borrowing” his toys and treats. I would do well as an only dog in a medium-active household or in a multi-dog household. I’d likely benefit from an older dog willing to show me the ropes and be my companion/play buddy.
