My name is Kismet (#3754) and I am a sweet 10-year old Golden Retriever.  I was surrendered to a shelter when my owner was no longer able to care for me.

I am a mature lady.  I really don’t care for other dogs at all and should be the sole focus of someone’s attention!  I love being with you and getting pets.  I know the basic commands and would love a hard chew toy every now and then.  I do like going on walks but you do need to watch as sometimes I’ll see things that excite me and I may pull on my leash.  Also, it’s best to cross the street if we see another dog.   I have a fairly high prey drive, so no cats please.

I would make a a lovely companion for someone that is home all day.  I weigh  bout 55 pounds and should stay at that weight for good health.
