Meet Parker (#4223)! Parker arrived from S. Korea on March 8, 2025. This 3.5 year old handsome pure white English Labrador is a dreamboat! Parker was rescued from Korea, where his family of 3 years left him at a boarding facility and never returned for him. Parker has been with his foster family which includes other dogs. Parker is the essence of a Labrador, he wants nothing more than to cuddle and snuggle, shower you with his sloppy kisses and make sure you are never left alone. Parker’s favorite activity is playing ball, and will carry his ball to the park so you won’t have to! Parker’s leash manners are amazing. He is house trained and loves car rides. He is a water loving fellow, and a beach trip would be his perfect day. He is great off leash and takes treats gently!

March 14, 2025: Parker continues to settle into foster care. He’ll play fetch in the backyard as long as you want to throw the ball, and he’s already enjoying his quiet neighborhood walks; today he insisted on carrying his ball the whole way. A true Retriever! The foster reports that Parker is very interested in his water bowl, meaning he’d probably sit in it if he’d fit. No doubt he is likely going to enjoy the water outdoors when the weather gets nicer. Parker had his checkup at the vet and got a good report card.

March 9, 2025: Parker’s first night in foster care went very smoothly. We were told that he was good with other dogs, and it’s proving to be true-he’s doing quite well with his fur sister and fur brother. It’s quite clear to the foster family that Parker has previously lived in a home as a loved pet. He seems comfortable (comfortable enough to hop right up on the couch!) inside and hasn’t had a single accident. Good boy Parker.
