My name is Nilla (#3691), short for Vanilla, and I came into GBR’s care from South Korea on April 19, 2022.  I am estimated to be about 7-years old, though my teeth are in such poor condition that confirming my age is extremely difficult.  (Truth be told, I know how old I am but I’m not telling.)  I am proud to say that I am a distemper survivor!

I am a Great Pyrenees/Retriever-mix and have characteristics of both breeds.  I love affection and move when you move.  I am very protective of my property, but once I meet you, will put my big head in your lap and just want to be petted.  I am fine with other dogs and pretty much just ignore them.  I walk well on a leash and do not pull.

I would do best in a home that is not right next to a street or sidewalk as I bark whenever something passes.

I will make a great companion for someone that wants a sweet and loving gentle giant like me in their home.
