Dr. Libbi Hawkins, DVM Receives Jim Charlton Award

Dr. Libbi Hawkins, DVM opened Gabriel Park Veterinary Clinic in 2006. Before this she worked at another clinic here in Portland. Libbi was honored with this award for all she has done for more than ten years for Golden Bond Rescue. Libbi is an accomplished vet and surgeon and huge supporter of GBR. She knew as an eight year old child that she wanted to be a vet. She fell in love with Goldens when she found out Jimmy Stewart had a Golden. She has loved them and has had them ever since.

Libbi’s award reads, “In recognition of selfless dedication and commitment of herself, skills and staff to the care of rescued Goldens. Our dogs are blessed to have such a good friend.”
