Woof! I’m Gunner (#4109), a 7-year old male Yellow Labrador Retriever.  I lived most of my life in a dirt dog run but have now adjusted very well to living in a home.  Besides eating, some of my favorite activities are playing fetch and getting belly rubs.

Humans have described me as a Sweetheart, a Love, very happy, Wiggles (because of how my whole body wiggles when I’m really happy and wag my tail quickly), calm but playful too.  My foster parents are working with me on leash walking and leash reactivity, specifically towards other dogs.  Off leash, I have been friendly with the dogs that I have met.

I get along well with people, including kids.  I ride well in the car, mostly lying down, and know basic commands, although STAY needs work on duration and distance.

I’m looking forward to finding a loving, forever home!
