Hello, my name is Tanner (#4064)!  I am a 1.5-year-old Yellow Lab.  I weigh only 55 pounds, and I should gain a few more pounds!

I am an outgoing, sweet, high-energy boy who is looking for a family who can play with me and give me lots of exercise. I would also love to have a playmate in my next home and/or go to the dog park! I love meeting people and other dogs. I love to play with other dogs by chasing them, wrestling, playing tug-o-war, and being chased!

When I am with my human family, I love to snuggle with them. I love getting attention and affection! I love chasing after toys or balls when my humans throw them for me. On walks, I love to smell all the world has to offer. If I see little toddlers, I will bark at them but not out of aggression.

I know the commands “sit”, “lay down”, “drop it”, and “go potty”. I could use more basic
obedience and some leash training, so I don’t pull too much. I’m a fast learner and
eager to please! Right now, working on not eating things I shouldn’t.   I get
so excited to meet people that I may jump on them, but I am still learning not to do
that. I occasionally bark out of excitement, so I am learning to be a quieter dog.
