This handsome boy is Rusty (#4310). Rusty is a 5-year, 4-month old field Golden. He weighs 77 pounds (and is working on losing a few). Rusty deals with allergies and chronic ear infections. In August 2024, he had a right ear pinna removed (very short crop) due to a hemotoma; his left ear had a lateral ear canal re-section done. In addition to being handsome, Rusty is reported to be a sweet and happy boy.

During the dogs first few weeks in foster care, we will discover more of its true personality and behavior as witnessed by the particular foster family. The dog’s personality traits may change as it becomes accustomed to its new foster home and surroundings.
