Hello, I’m Rosie 4396. I am a young, beautiful, petite Golden Retriever-mix who will be celebrating my first birthday on February 1, 2026.
I was living in miserable conditions in my original home but, since coming to live with my foster mom, I have learned how to live inside a house. I also got to find out about all the fun stuff like toys, treats, regular meals, playing with my new K9 foster sister, and oh, did I mention treats?? (My foster mom says I’m VERY food motivated.) Sometimes I get on the couch when my humans are gone but I do better when they are home. I can stay alone with my K9 foster sister and don’t get into anything that isn’t mine.
I still have lots to learn like not barking at new people, walking on a leash so I don’t tug on my humans, and meeting new people appropriately. I just get so excited and jump up, but I’m learning. My foster mom said she thinks I have springs for back legs.
I love water and do really well with my baths. Since I got a slow-feeder dog bowl, I’m learning not to gobble my food.
I would like to find a new family that will help me feel comfortable around new people and continue to teach me new things. I can sit, shake, and stay pretty well. My favorite game is to play fetch with my ball. I will even bring it back to you so you can throw it again and again and again! Having another dog to play with would be a bonus. I really am a good little girl and with more love and help, I will be the BEST dog ever!
