Rem #4341

My name is Rem (#4341) but you’re welcome to call me Rem Cycle, Miss Remy or whatever else you’d like.  It’s said that I am an absolute sweetheart.  I love humans of all ages and am a frisky, young 7.5 year old!

I really love treats and playing fetch. I will politely drop the ball at my human’s feet so they can throw it! I will do most anything for a treat and even like most dog-friendly fruits and vegetables (but definitely not celery!). I am very smart and a quick learner. I know lots of commands, even one where I walk in a circle around my human!

I like other dogs and love the dog park. On the leash, my approach with other dogs is not always great – about 50% of the time I get a little too excited – but this has generally been easily corrected with commands, treats, and/or re-direction. I’m not aggressive in any way. I walk very nicely on a leash.

I am soft like a bunny and super cute and cuddly! I’m a perfect mix of Golden Retriever and then probably some Australian Shepherd and maybe German Shepherd. Who knows exactly, but everyone says it’s irrelevant because I’m so cute! They like the way my ears bounce when I walk.

I love to be around people and activity. I have adapted quickly to my foster home and am very well adjusted. My prior owner only surrendered me because she wanted me to have a better life.

I feel certain I will make a wonderful addition to any family that wants a dog around in their daily life, who wants cuddles and companionship, and will take time to play with me and then give me enrichment treats, bones, etc. to keep me occupied when they’re busy. I would be great with a family with kids!

I would also probably do great with a frisbee or agility training if that’s something my human wanted to do.

Here are a few things to be aware of if I become a part of your family:

No sofa or bed will be ignored; while I will listen if you tell me to stay in my bed, I definitely prefer and am used to being right next to my human(s) on the bed or on the couch.

Since I am so food motivated, food can’t be left out on the counters and the trash must be secured.
