Nora #4436
Nora absolutely loves being with her people and will always follow you from room to room, making sure to be near you. She’s very food‑motivated and with consistent training she’s already making great progress understanding that not all human food is hers to sample. She’s still working on basic commands, but we have no doubt she’ll get there soon.
She’s recently discovered how fun dog toys can be and enjoys playing with her foster brother, although she tends to play a bit on the rougher side – she respects when he tells her he has had enough though, but she will play endlessly if allowed to. Nora also loves going on walks and although initially showed herself to be polite and gentle when encountering new people and other dogs, as she has gotten more comfortable she is VERY excited when she sees other dogs/rabbits/birds (any sort of animal) on a walk, including what seems like some leash reactivity that can be worked on with training.
Everyone Nora meets comments on just how incredibly soft her coat is — and how sweet her personality is to match. She enjoys running around the yard, exploring her surroundings, and soaking up time outdoors, but she also knows how to settle when playtime is over. She’s been sleeping soundly through the night and does a great job resting when it’s time to relax.
While she’s gaining confidence every day, some things are still a little scary for her (like getting into the car), and she’ll thrive with patient encouragement and reassurance from her people. Nora has been left alone with cameras for shorter durations (~1 hour) and has not been destructive, although she definitely misses her family and will pace as opposed to lay down, so some time to get her gradually comfortable would be necessary also. She has a fair amount of energy and is built more on the athletic side, with daily walks and some sort of playtime being a must for her

An active dog sibling would be a bonus, although it’s not required
