I’m always hungry for treats and will do tricks and commands for them. Training and mental stimulation are my idea of fun. I’m also down for the beach and nature walks but do best without a lot of dogs or people around, except for my current best dog friend or the next dog I can get comfortable with so it can be my new best dog friend.
I love walks and will check in with my human often for a treat or just a reminder that I’m a “good boy.” Sometimes, I’m scared of other dogs and will hide behind my human; other times, I’m indifferent about them and simply act like they don’t exist. I’m was used to having three walks a day in an apartment and recently have been living in a house with a yard so I am comfortable with either multiple walks or a yard.
My foster family members have to go to school and work so I’m crate trained for hours at a time during the day. I am also crated to sleep at night because I have FOMO and will stay up all night if you let me!
I am shy at first but once I’m comfortable with someone I will become their shadow. I’m rarely seen without a toy (or two or three) in my mouth. I am an active boy and can be restless at times but I love to cuddle when the vibe is right; I will even sleep with my human if they want me to. I don’t have any allergies that I’m aware of but I do get dry skin so regular brushing and quality food are important for my health and well-being.
I’m ready to be someone’s puppy for life. Could you be my human for life?
