Rita Selmarie Receives Jim Charlton Memorial Award
The 2009 Jim Charlton Memorial Award recipient is Rita Selmarie. Rita has been involved in many aspects of Golden Bond Rescue since 2003: fostering (and “failing” with Cooper #1159); conducting dog evaluations; mentoring and training; was a former member of the Board of Directors and is the person behind the Golden Bond Rescue website. Not only has Rita updated and maintained our website, enabling us to reach out to the world, but she is also spearheading our “new and improved” website, along with a team of other talented Golden Bond volunteers: Jon Gibson, Mark Kavanaugh, Jared Lewis, Trish Van’t Hul and Paul Ventura. Needless to say, she does it all for the love of Goldens!
