Hi I’m Annie (#4227)! I’m so happy to meet you, because people are my favorite! I love to say hello to everyone and love getting pet. My foster dad takes me out to restaurants and other public spaces, and I have so much fun!
My foster home has three other dogs, and we all get along great. I have also been to a house with a cat and I didn’t mind at all. I can get really excited when people come to visit, and I jump on them to say hello. That might be a lot for small children, but I don’t mean any harm. I am very food motivated, so I bet I can do better with some training. I just really love people! Sometimes I’ve been mistaken for a puppy because of my energetic greetings! Have I mentioned how much I love people?
When I’m inside, I love to cuddle. If I can’t be on someone’s lap, I’m going to be right next to them, and I’m so lucky that my foster dad lets me sleep on the bed with him! I also love treats! I can sometimes be a little too enthusiastic when grabbing treats, so we’re working on a more gentle grab, and I’m doing better. As far as other training goes, I am really good at my basic commands (like sit, stay, etc ). All in all I’m sweet as can be and can’t wait to find my forever family!
Note: Annie and Eli (#4226) have been together since Annie was a puppy. It would be ideal if a loving family were able to adopt both of them. They are wonderful dogs.
