Eli #4226 and Annie #4227
Eli is a gentleman, very mellow. He’s adjusted very well. He wants to play fetch with his stuffed toys for about three minutes. Then he’s done.
He prefers to be in the house. If he thinks you’re taking too long to let him in, he will quietly whine. The couch is his favorite spot.
He does wander the property every day, but not for long. He’s definitely a house dog.
Annie, on the other hand, is full of energy and pretty excitable. She’s also very sweet, like Eli.
The only problem is that she is not used to cats, and wants to chase them for fun. The cats are not too thrilled with this and, at first, were terrified.
The house is now separated into the cat side and the dog side, with pet gates in between. They can see each other, but can’t interact directly yet. Annie has made tremendous progress already. At the current rate, the gates will be coming down in just a couple of months.
Meanwhile, we are all happy and the dogs are living a good life.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to adopt these wonderful dogs.
