Harley #4039

My name is Harley (#4039).  I am a 1.5-year old Golden Retriever.  I am fairly small, weighing only 55 pounds.  I am a sweet, sensitive boy looking for someone who has the time and experience to take it slow with me. Once I settle into our home, I will show all my goofy golden traits – I LOVE toys, am bouncy and playful, and want all your attention. I do great in the house, am potty-trained and able to be left unattended without concern.

While I am improving with my worry on walks, hikes are what make me the happiest. Somewhere quiet I can roam and explore – I’m really hoping to get more of that in my new home. I’m working on all the basics with the trainer who is currently fostering me.  She is also helping me to build confidence around the things that make me nervous. I will need a home with no other pets and ideally in a quieter neighborhood. I am pretty noise-sensitive, so a busy, urban area would be too stressful for me. I also need a home without young children.
