Zinnia #3260

Sweet Zinnia (#3260) flew in from China on October 23rd. She tested negative for heartworm and positive for round worm and giardia.  She has a UTI, some itchy skin and an infected left ear.  She received a Claro treatment for the ear and is on Panacur for the parasites and Amoxicillin for the itchy skin and UTI.  She has one retained upper left canine so her fosters will play some tug games with her in hopes of popping it out.  If it doesn’t come out on it’s own, GBR will have it pulled when she gets spayed.  Her right rear leg is a bit “lazy”, so her fosters are keeping an eye on it.  Hopefully after some rest and good food it will be fine.

In her foster home, Zinnia has been resting a lot lately, but eating and drinking well.  She’s been taking it easy but did go on a couple short walks.  Her foster family says she is a very sweet girl!
