Introducing Shanghai Winter (#2893). Winter is a SUPER strong pulling machine. He is learning from his foster family that pulling, stopping to piddle on everything in sight, and lunging after birds are unacceptable behaviors.  He is also learning that the leash does not belong to him; he is willing to give it up in exchange for toys.

Despite his size and strength, Winter is very gentle with his mouth.  His foster family has removed leashes, harnesses, slippers, pillowcases . . . just to name a few of his treasured finds.

While at his foster home, Winter had the opportunity to meet a tall, lanky active young male and he went crazy with joy.  It is presumed, therefore, that Winter had a close bond with someone of a similar age and stature while in China and he really misses his friend.  Winter would probably love to find a home with someone who fit the profile of his former friend, but he could learn to love another too.
