My name is Tom (#3630).  I am a 4-year old yellow Labrador retriever.  I came to the U.S. from So. Korea after my owner died and no one else there wanted me.  Since becoming a member of the pack at my American foster home, I have been a very loving and playful boy.  I enjoy being around my foster family and getting lots of affection. They say I don’t have a mean bone in my body but I will alert if someone is at the door. I really LOVE my walks and playing with the resident dogs, both big and small.

I am still learning commands in English but I was already very well trained before coming to the U.S. I have never had an accident in the house and can be left out of my crate with no problems at all. My foster family has socialized with me quite a bit and I’ve shown them no signs of behavioral problems.

I will definitely let someone know when I need or want attention by gently nudging with my paw and resting my big head on a lap.  I am still unsure about car rides but with the help of my new family, I feel like I can improve with every passing day.  I would like for my forever family to be one that will play, walk and give me the affection I need…and be willing to play my favorite game of tug-a-war with me!

With a calm demeanor and a strong desire to give and receive love, I plan on bringing joy to my forever family.  Could your home use more joy?
