Hello everyone. Timi (#2985) here. I am a beautiful Golden from China with a heart of gold. Although I am only 2 years old, I am a calm and laidback boy. Don’t get me wrong, I love to play with my ball and tug rope, and chase around in the yard but I’m also a lover and like to be petted, talked to and hugged. I love to play, but my most favorite thing is going for a walk. I’m good with other dogs and love to play with them. I am kind and gentle with everyone including children, although the youngest I’ve met is 8. When I’m on a walk I’m interested in other dogs and may pull on my leash to get to know them, however I haven’t had a chance to meet an unknown dog outside off leash so I’m not sure how I would do.
I’d love to be in a home where I am an intricate part of the family. I always want to be where you are and will lay down and take a snooze while you’re busy. I would love to have a canine sibling. However, I’m not so good with cats so probably a house without cats would be best.
Note from foster mom: Timi broke the femur in his right back leg when in China. His surgery in China went well and does not affect his ability to walk, run or go up and down stairs. A veterinarian advised no repetitive jumping on firm surfaces like those required in agility or fly ball and probably no long term running. Other than those he can do any other activities like hiking trails, long walks, playing with other dogs and running around in the backyard chasing balls.
Timi was adopted on April 7, 2018
