My name is Sugar (#3772).  I arrived at my foster home from South Korea on November 9th. I am an active, goofy, 65-pound golden. I have been treated for ear infections and a skin infection on my neck. I am very healthy overall, eating from a puzzle bowl and sleeping well in my open crate at night.

I love long walks and am working on ignoring other dogs. I have been relatively successful with house-training, have learned to sit for desired items, and am respectful of furniture.  I am very motivated by food and tennis balls.

Being the big goof that I am, I will nuzzle into your lap for head and neck rubs, nearly falling asleep while standing. I like to spend time near windows, looking for squirrels and birds. In addition, I love to watch tv (sporting events are my favorite).  I am not startled by loud noises and greet new people with ease. I crave attention from my foster parents, following them wherever they go. I am well-mannered, not jumping up on people or things, and rarely barking. I have done just fine left alone in the house for a few hours at a time.

I have shared my foster home with another golden but would do best as an only dog. I also don’t know how I would do with a cat.  I am excited to meet my forever family and soak up all the love.
