Sonny’s Available Story:
I just had my 13th birthday, but don’t let my age fool you. I walk 3 and a half miles a day and like to chase my foster brother. I do have a hip that is a little unstable which makes me think twice about climbing mom’s steep long stairs. Short stairs are no problem. The vet said I’m in excellent health except for a little arthritis in the hip. No food allergies.
I have excellent leash manners, never pull and heel right at your knee. I like cats and all other dogs and people. I lived outside in my previous home, so sleeping on a soft bed in a warm room has been a treat. I wouldn’t dream of counter surfing, stealing food from the table, getting on the furniture, or begging. Car rides are fun but a do need a boost to get in.
If you are looking for a gentleman to sit at your feet, ask for an occasional pet, and take walks with you without dislocating your shoulder, I am your guy.
Foster mom say; this really is a nice dog with a laid back personality and very willing to please. His coat is improving with a better diet and he is getting stronger with longer walks.
