Hi! My name is Shiloh (#2820).  I am an 11-year old, overweight angel. My previous owner, who had me from the time I was a puppy, passed away. I lived with my five feline siblings in our house with our deceased owner for several days before anyone found us. It was really hard on us.  Our owner took very good care of us over the years, but when she became ill she was no longer able to care for us properly.  I was covered with fleas and had serious infections is both my ears. I was also very dirty. My previous owner free-fed me and that’s how I got to be so overweight. (Sadly, three of my five cat siblings had to be euthanized because they were in such poor shape.)  A wonderful neighbor had me for three weeks and got me some much needed vet care.

I am a shy boy.  I’m a little leery of new people but I am very sweet. In less than twelve hours in my foster home, I started coming out of my shell thanks to the presence of the other three dogs there.   Now I’m wiggly, wagging, smiling and seeking out attention!  Being in the presence of other dogs makes me comfortable.

Do you and your dog(s) have room in your heart(s) for me?  I hope so!
