Sweet, loving Moosey (#3452) came into Golden Bond Rescue’s care with severe demodectic mange, most likely from a flea allergy.  She also suffered from a very bad UTI and tested positive for heartworm.  While awaiting the results of a second test to confirm the heartworms, a chest x-ray-ray indicated they would have started only recently.

In addition to her current treatable medical conditions, Moosey is a tripod; she has been missing her front right paw (at ankle) since birth.  Moosey is going to make some lucky family very happy with her courageous approach to life’s challenges.

All descriptions above are what we know about this dog when it was first released to GBR. Dogs are typically in foster care for three to four weeks. During that time, we will discover its true personality as witnessed by its particular foster family. The dog’s personality traits may change as it becomes accustom to its new foster home.

Moosey was adopted on March 30, 2021
