Harley #3588

Hi!  I am Harley (#3588), a beautiful black, 9-month old male, 80 pound, AKC-registered lab.  I would love to join a house with older kids and/or people who can spend lots of cuddle time with me.  I am energetic but love being a lap dog.   I will probably do best in a home with experienced dog owners who are used to a larger dog.

Since being in foster care, I’ve learned a lot.  I am fully house and crate trained, heel very well and will sit for short periods.  My foster mom says I still need some obedience work, especially with “here”, “down”, and “stay”.  But I am very biddable and I’m anxious to learn more.

For exercise, I love to retrieve bumpers and play with my brother.  While I can be a little hesitant with new people and dogs, once I’ve met you, I will be in love with you!  I’ve very much enjoyed playing with my foster sister (a lab also) who really loves to play chase.  I’m always eager to jump in the car and go for a ride with you as well.

I am still a puppy at heart, so I need lots of exercise and stimulation, but inside the house, I quickly settle down and enjoy chewing on my toys or even better, receiving lots of petting and attention.

My foster parents think I am just as sweet as can be.
