My name is Sandy (#3628).  I am a six-month old Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever mix.  I have traits of both breeds and am an active, curious, snuggly boy.  I am overcoming some initial anxiety about all of new smells, tastes, and experiences since my travels from South Korea.

I now enjoy long walks.  At first, I would lie down at an intersection and had to be carried across the street.  Now I walk alongside my foster brother and pay no attention to cars or people moving nearby.  I especially like to walk along the bike path near the river and check out all of the smells in the nearby grass.

I am an active dog who runs after balls in the backyard and does zoomies.  I like to play with the older resident dog in my foster home.  On my first few car rides, I needed the resident dog to get into the car with me.  I continue looking for good role models to help me be my best self.

I am looking for adopters who have another big dog. possibly some older children, and adults who work from home or are retired.  I will continue to need companionship as I grow and become comfortable in my new life.
