Rhett #3558
If you adopt me, you’ll need to work on my potty habits. I’ve learned to pee and poop outside but for a while you’ll need to remember to take me outside until I figure out a way to let you know I need to go potty.
I go for a couple walks every day and am starting to enjoy them more. If we see other people or dogs on walks, I stop and look at them because I’m a little nervous. I walk gently on a leash. I am anxious around new people (like at the vet’s office). When new people come to my house, I’ll usually let them pet me.
I like carrying around my toys. I have a lot of energy but am starting to nap more. Sometimes I even race around the house and yard by myself. My foster mom thinks I haven’t totally “come down” yet from all the huge changes in my life since China.
I need a home with one or more dogs to run and play with. Also good would be a big yard to play fetch and run around in. I need to be taken on walks and to places with other dogs and people to help me get more confident. Are you the family that will think I’m the BEST DOG EVER and give me lots of love, kisses and attention?
