Hi.  I’m Renee (#3108). I’ve been in the good ‘ol USA for over six weeks now, and boy do I LOVE it here.  I am learning how to be a member of a family and to be loved, what’s it’s like to have 4-legged sisters and one one brother, what it’s like to run free, have a warm bed to sleep, and probably lots of other good stuff that I am forgetting.  It’s all kind of new to me.

I am a social girl, but a little aloof.  I go out and run with the other dogs, but sort of do my own thing, rather than playing like the rest of them do.

I love attention from the humans and ask for more any time I can…more, please.

I am a very happy girl so wag my tail and smile a LOT.  I’m also pretty easy going and get along with everyone pretty well…even when I go to the vet.

I’m smart too.  I learned to sit for my meals and treats in two tries…the humans say that it’s time to start learning other good things now…not sure what that means, but I am very eager to please.  I come when I’m called, most of the time…except when I think that there are more interesting things to check out…remember all of this is new to me.

I walk nicely on a leash.  I like to be out in front, but I don’t pull.  Going for daily walks would make me happy.  I also like to ride in the car.

The humans here say that I am bright eyed and bushy tailed.  Don’t know what that means, but they seem to think that it’s a good thing.

I’m hoping to find my forever home…talk to my foster mom if you think you are the one.  I can’t wait to meet you and start the New Year with a new family.
