Hello, I’m Quigley (#3548)! I came from China in June 2021. I am a 3- year old Golden Retriever and my Golden personality shines through! I am a little over 50 pounds but am on the skinny side and could stand to gain some more weight. This shouldn’t be a problem because I love meal time and treats! Overall I am very healthy, but have some dry and patchy skin that is slowly improving.

I am an extremely loving people dog and the first thing I did when I met my foster parents was give them a big hug. I live for pets and attention and will scoot to get as close to you as I can! If I had it my way I would be snuggling with you all day. I really want to be a couch dog, but my foster parents won’t let me!

I have a foster brother and sister that I was a little wary of at first. I had a bad experience with a dog in the past, so am nervous about new dogs’ intentions. My foster siblings and I coexist just fine now, but I don’t really play with them much. I would be a good only dog, or with a slow and proper introduction would be fine with a mellow brother or sister.

Some of my favorite things are chew toys, spinning in circles, going on walks, getting brushed (it feels so good on my dry skin!), and of course hugging! I know I said hugging before, but I really love it.

I am still learning how to let my foster parents know when I need to go outside, so occasionally I will have an accident in the house. If I am let out frequently I have no problems at all!

I am an incredibly sweet and loving boy, and will make a great addition to your family!
