Pooh’s Available Story:
Hey, There! Are you looking for a beach buddy? A fetching buddy? An all-around good companion buddy? Well, you need to read about Pooh. Don’t let his size OR age put you off. He’s 100 pounds of fun!
My name is Pooh (#2447) but my foster family calls me Curly. Before I came to Golden Bond Rescue, I lived in a garage, without exercise or attention, so needless to say I got a little overweight. Since I have been in my foster home,, I have lost over 20 pounds thanks to regular walks and playing fetch.
I love balls and can fit up to three in my mouth at once. I have a lot of energy in my body and you would never know I am 9! I love attention, kids, small dogs and my new life! You should see me swim in the ocean! I have so much life left in me.
Let’s see, what else I can I tell you about me? Oh, I know, I’m pretty mellow in the house and usually just follow my foster mom around the house. I walk well on a leash when I have on my special harness. When out for a walk and I see another dog, I don’t care because I’m carrying a ball in my mouth. I really, really, really love to play ball! Want to see me in action? Take a look at this short video, I’m the one in the harness. Pooh video…
Please think about adopting me and I will bring years of joy to your life. Don’t let my age or size fool you – I am a great catch!
