Hi everybody… I’m Miss Nora (#2991). Nobody is quite sure what breed I am…but my foster mom says I am just one very happy girl. And don’t I have the sweetest face ever?
I originally came from South Korea where I was rescued from the meat trade. But I’ve been living in the US now for awhile and am now living the good life!
I did have heartworm when I first got here, but I’ve been treated for it and am ready for a long and happy life now.
I absolutely love playing with other dogs. Sometimes I like to just play chase, but sometimes I like to do the rough and tumble play- it really depends on the dog. I have been to doggie daycare and I love it! I haven’t been around cats, but I have barked at them if I see them in the front yard and most likely I would chase them given the chance. So best if I’m in a cat free house. And speaking of barking, I rarely bark at all, well except for those pesky cats!
I am totally house trained and I’ve never had an accident in the house–EVER. Gold star for me!! I love toys of all kinds, especially nyla bones and antlers. I like stuffed toys, but if they are fat and fluffy, I will destroy them in no time. If I have a stuffed toy with minimal stuffing in it, I may eventually chew it up..but I will love playing with it for a long time first!
And I LOVE riding in the car!
I love going for walks, but I’m really awful at being good at it. I pull big time, especially if I see a cat or squirrel. Because I am such a strong girl, foster mom says it is really important that my new family take me to training classes to help me become a perfect walking or jogging partner.
I haven’t been around kids, but I would probably do best around older ones, as I sometimes jump up when I’m excited. Also I can be a little mouthy at times. But I’ve been working really hard to remember to not do either and foster mom says I’m making great progress.
I don’t mind sharing toys at all. I eat very nicely and never try to steal my foster sister’s food. I also take treats very nicely. I know sit, stay, wait, come and am learning more things all the time.
Foster mom says I am just about the most perfect dog- well except for those walking and jumping things, but I’m getting better all the time.
I would love to be with a family who will give me lots of love and plenty of exercise to keep me happy and tired. And having a canine companion to pal around with would be wonderful. Could it be with you?
