Neo #3598

Hello potential family!  My name is Neo (#3598).  I was asked to say a few words about myself, but my English skills are not that good yet so I asked my foster mom to say a few words about me.  This is what she had to say:

“Don’t let his majestic looks fool you– Neo can be a lovable goofball in the finest GR tradition. Mostly he is calm but would love to roughhouse with the right owner. He doesn’t know his own strength so will be needing vigorous leash training. That said, he moderates his energy to play nicely with his foster bro who is one third his size. Currently, Neo is allowed one special toy in controlled circumstances because he has problems sharing (huge improvement in the last week). He hasn’t had many indoor life experiences so he doesn’t readily indicate that he needs a potty break– on the rare occasion there are urination accidents. However, he improves by the day. He will need help keeping his figure trim– he inhales every last crumb of every meal! No food aggression though. Very motivated by treats, which he always takes politely.

Neo was rescued from a South Korean breeding factory where he was kept in a tiny dirty cage.  It is amazing how outstanding his temperament is considering those circumstances. He is intelligent and has learned a lot in the five weeks he has been here– but has more to learn. Neo is a beautiful dog, not just in his appearance but also in his heart.”

This much I can say for myself:  I am looking forward to finding a home where I can continue working on my language skills, both verbal and nonverbal.  Woof.
