Murphy #2211

It is with a heavy heart to tell you that I lost Murphy to cancer this past Monday. He was diagnosed earlier this month. It had metastasized to his liver and progressed rapidly. He went to sleep peacefully at home.

It is a very empty home here. It has been a tough week for me. Fortunately, I have had an out pouring of support from all who knew him. He brought great joy and happiness to me and was well-loved by all who knew him. He was a sweet and lovable “little” dog.

As the days progress, I will gradually get “better” and will recall all of the many great things that we did together. I will miss our daily routine, walks in the morning, before dinner and evening around the neighborhood, and adventures bike riding and hiking in the mountains. He enjoyed carrots, broccoli, and salmon treats for “cocktails”. He loved Christmas and opening presents.

I will miss him greatly, but am left with love and warm memories of him in my life. His time here was way too short.

Sadly,

Mason (Buck) Bryant

Murphy was adopted on June 7, 2012
