My name is Maddy (#2988) and I am from South Korea. I came to the United States right before the Winter Olympics which had I stayed I have been told I would have won a gold medal in cuteness. I think I am two but my foster moms think I may be younger.  I weigh 60 pounds and am all Golden Retriever.

I am learning how to live with my foster cats.  I want to play but they don’t so sometimes I need to be reminded to leave them alone. I haven’t been around children yet but I love people so I am certain I would love children.

Although I am two, I feel like a puppy so I still do puppy things like chewing.  My foster moms keep lots of chew toys and treats around the house so that I don’t chew on things I am not supposed to.  I love to play fetch with the tennis ball.  I have a lot of energy so the more I can run it off the better I behavior.

I am still figuring things out but I want to be a good girl and I have so much love to give.  I need a home where my forever family can give me lots of love and the patience to let me learn. I am a quick learner and have already learned some commands. I know how to sit and wait for my food. I know how to sit and wait before I come into the house. I know leave it and off but need a few reminders because I get so excited I forget. I am eager to learn and I am motivated by treats and praise.
