Golden Bond is pleased to introduce Lottie (#2960).  Lottie arrived from China on January 17. Lottie is a pretty little golden girl, though she has had a tough life. She was rescued at 3 months (see photo below) after either being severely beaten or hit by a car. She had 2 broken legs and a damaged eye. Her eye was removed and replaced with an artificial one, so she has no vision in her right eye but looks normal. Like most one-eyed dogs, it doesn’t slow her down a bit! She is great on walks and loves to play chase outdoors- she is just not meant to be someone’s jogging partner.

She has early onset arthritis in her hips and a somewhat deformed right hind leg due to a calloused fracture. But Lottie is a sweet, snuggly girl who needs lots of love to help her be trusting. But she wants to please and she does enjoy playing fetch.  In fact, she is a ball freak!!

We would like to see Lottie in a one-level home with a patient adopter who is gone not more than 4 hours a day and will take her to a positive reinforcement training class.

Lottie was adopted on March 7, 2018
