Ginger came to the U.S. from Seoul, South Korea, on August 25, 2020. She had spent the previous 10 months in a boarding facility after being found tied to a post and abandoned. She needed to find a home with no other dogs because she doesn’t manage well with them. She’s an energetic and exuberant 3-year-old (or younger) who is super excited about everything in her new life. She gets along well with the two resident cats.

She and her new mommy are meeting with a nice lady called a “trainer” so that Mommy can help her learn how to deal better with the big world around her—especially other dogs. She has tons of toys, gets lots of walks, and thinks that squirrels are THE BEST. She still gets overly anxious (and/or overly excited) about other dogs and it will take some time and work to overcome this. Underneath her bluster, she’s a real sweetheart.
